What every girl wants... and some are lucky enough to get!!

When I heard my girlfriend Kristal was getting married I was so excited!! For her to ask me to attend her wedding in Vegas meant so much. She is a girl on facebook with over 5,000 friends because she's an amazingly talented country singer!! We've been friends for 11 years and even though our friendship "had" times where we'd go without seeing eachother we still make it to eachothers most significant events. I was honored to make this cake for her Bridal Shower. :o)

Quiet Wyatt, or so we thought has turned TWO!!!!

I've been pretty busy with my new job so i've only done a couple of cakes lately. I'm hoping to start something up soon but I've got to adjust to working an extra day and having 3 kids that keep me very busy!  I did this cake for my younger cousin Wyatt who is only two months younger than my youngest son! They both love Toy Story so i'm sure i'll be making this cake again very soon!

William turns One!

It's been a hectic few months! I've changed jobs, celebrated xmas and gone on vacation but when a friend at work asked me to do her sons first birthday cake for her I was thrilled! She wanted an Elmo cake for Williams first birthday. I was very excited to do this cake for him. I hope his momma liked it!! We did some cupcakes too since he was having such a large birthday party!! Happy Birthday William!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

These pumpkins taste so good, it's hard not to eat them all! Cake and Candy make it really hard to resist, but still, I have a hard time eating them because they're so cute! My boys don't feel the sameway...

Lexa's Pillow Cake

I made this pillow cake for Zach's little sister Alexa. She's so cute but she's also more Diva than anyone I know, and she just turned two! Watch out Mike and Christina, you guys are going to have your hands full! :o)

Luella's 1st Birthday Party

My girlfriend Krena asked me to make Luella's 1st Birthday cake. I decided to try something new and ventured into the world of fondant. This was the first fondant cake I did, and fell in love with it! You can achieve picture perfect cakes almost everytime! Sitting there while everyone was eating my cake was a little overwhelming, you never know what people are going to think of your cakes. Everyone loved it thankfully!! :o)

Did someone say dressup??

Luella came over to play with Kingston and I had to put a Tutu on her! Ok not going to lie I've put a few on her, since Kingston has decided to cry everytime I try and put one on him! I'm sure his dad is thankful of that! She was so busy playing that I managed to steal only moments to get this pic!

MY BABY IS 8!!!

Wasn't I just talking about how fast time goes!! My baby is 8 and I still can't get over it! This is the age gap that Devan (my step-son) was at when I first met my husband Steve! Dev is now 13 and Zach has filled in that gap. He has also made me realize that all boys drive you crazy at this age!! Forgetting everything and testing the waters as to how much they can get away with... But when they look at you with utter amazement in their eyes, like when Zach saw his birthday cake this year... your heart melts like the first time you laid eyes on them. I guess that's why i'm a mom, just for those moments. :o)

Simple yet, elegant...

Learning new flowers has been a blast! I had an amazing teacher, who I will be calling to get creative with outside of class!! ;o) I love working with fondant and gum paste. I thought this would make such a beautiful top tier of a wedding cake... hint hint, if you know anyone...

Birthday Time with Lightning McQueen

When your little cousin wants a Lightning McQueen Birthday cake what do you do? Make him one! Ryder is so adorable he just turned 3 in July. It's sad really how fast time goes by. I remember holding Ryder for the first time, he was so small and snuggly, now he's big and wiggly! I wonder what this 3 year old is going to want next year?

A Special Little Boys 4th Birthday!!

Parkers 4th Birthday! Parker is so cute, I guess lastnight he proclaimed his love for me after I made him these special Mr.Pototoe Head cupcakes! Fully edible other than the sticks and the arms. They are so tasty, I didn't mind when something went wrong and I had to eat them instead of waste them!

Getting Started...

I've been trying to get my company up and running for sometime now. So bare with me while this process takes place. The tutu's are for sale and the cakes are almost ready. It's hard starting off but so far everything has been going good! There is some legal paperwork that i'm looking into for the cakes but soon they will be ready for anyone to taste!! In the meantime, i've been doing them for friends or referrals.
